Norwegian Cruise Line is rolling out Starbucks across their fleet and private destinations.

Norwegian Cruise Line is bringing Starbucks to its whole fleet in time for the cruise line’s return through the rest of 2021. Private islands, like as Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, will host the famous Coffee venue.

Starbucks and NCL are expanding their partnership.

Starbucks and Norwegian Cruise Line are extending their relationship to include all 17 cruise ships as well as exclusive locations. By the end of 2022, guests will be able to enjoy the Starbucks experience on all ships.

The licensed shops on board and the “We Proudly Serve” cafés will provide a variety of hot and cold handmade drinks, seasonal blends, and sweet and savory culinary items, exactly as on land.

“We are excited to announce our expanded collaboration with Starbucks, which will provide our guests with the most comprehensive Starbucks experience at sea only days before we resume operations in Seattle, Starbucks’ hometown,” said Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line. “Our teams have a similar passion for creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for people to connect, and we are working together to make that promise a reality.”

Guests on some ships will have access to popular retail items as well as the Starbucks Reward Program. Handcrafted espresso drinks will be accessible in all of the major dining rooms and specialized restaurants, so it’s more than simply a coffee shop or café. Some ships will even include a Starbucks self-serve coffee station.

Starbucks senior vice president of U.S. Licensed Stores and Latin America, Mark Ring, stated, “We are delighted to offer consumers their favorite coffee experiences as they begin to reconnect, travel, and socialize together.” “Bringing the Starbucks menu to Norwegian Cruise Line gives all passengers a unique and premium experience.”

In 2018, the Norwegian Bliss was the first ship in the fleet to include Starbucks. Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Sky, Norwegian Getaway, and Norwegian Encore are among the ships that offer the venue. Starbucks will be introduced on six more ships, including the Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Pearl, and Norwegian Escape.

Starbucks will be introduced to NCL’s private island Harvest Caye in Belize and the popular private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas later this year.

This comes as the cruise company prepares to resume operations with more ships after the resumption of Norwegian Jade on July 25 out of Greece. Norwegian Encore will resume cruises to Alaska out of the Port of Seattle on August 7th, kicking off the U.S. relaunch.
