Sometimes it’s hard to find a single word that can describe the intensity of an experience. It may be scary, exciting, nerve-wracking or even exhausting. This is why people who’ve ever read Marvel Comics know how Spiderman feels as he swung from building to building and never hit the ground once in his life. But with great power comes great responsibility – one slip up could change everything for Peter Parker and those around him., Topics: How Does The Blockchain Work? Spider-Man: Far From Home is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was released in July of 2018. It follows the events that happen after the movie concludes. Read more in detail here: what happens after spider-man: far from home.
For the Marvel Cinematic Universe – or rather, the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse – Spider-Man: No Way Home will be a game-changing event. When Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) mistake on a reality-altering spell, it unleashes a slew of other versions of Spider-Verse villains and heroes. By this point, rumors (and outright leaks) have established what type of one-of-a-kind event No Way Home will be; the issue is, where will it all lead? With so much happening on behind the scenes, this is a good moment to consider what should happen following Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As previously announced, Spider-Man: No Way Home is anticipated to reunite a number of major actors (along with their Marvel Comics characters) from previous installments of the series. Alred Molina (Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2), Jamie Foxx (Electro from Amazing Spider-Man 2), Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin from Spider-Man), Thomas Hayden Church (Sandman from Spider-Man 3), Rhys Ifans (The Lizard from Amazing Spider-Man) and Tom Hardy’s Venom (possibly on the heroic side) are among the confirmed cast members. The reappearance of past Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who will purportedly assist Tom Holland’s MCU Spider-Man in battling this multiversal danger, is said to be one of the larger shocks.
From the beginning of the marketing and promotional interviews for Spider-Man: No Way Home, it has been clear that this is the conclusion of the Spider-Man MCU narrative as we know it. It remains to be seen how this all plays out in terms of the plot; nevertheless, Marvel fans are well aware of how much is going on behind the scenes.
It’s still unknown what will happen to Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ collaboration following No Way Home. We know Sony is putting a lot of effort into developing, branding, and marketing their “Sony Spider-Man Universe” (SSU) project: Venom: Let There Be Carnage allowed Sony’s Morbius and Kraven The Hunter films to coexist in a same sandbox. However, throughout Spider-Man: No Way Home’s theatrical run, two main concerns must be answered: where the character of Spider-Man fits into Sony’s franchise and what the character’s future in the MCU is.
Is Tom Holland’s career over?

Tom Holland’s future is arguably one of the major unanswered concerns (and to a lesser extent, his Spider-man co-stars). If Holland gets weary of lugging a brand like this, it’s very reasonable (and one that has rarely focused on him as a solo performer). No Way Home may be the simplest departure and hand-off for the series for the young actor, who obviously has interests beyond Spider-Man. That possibility stems from the fact that Spider-Man: No Way Home’s multiverse plot will set the groundwork for one major possible alteration to the franchise: several Spider-Mans living at the same time throughout the Marvel Multiverse.

After No Way Home establishes that concept, there won’t need to be a battle between Marvel and Sony over who gets to use Spider-Man and where; based on the deals that can be made behind closed doors, there could easily be a Spider-Man for the SSU and a Spider-Man for the MCU – with different actors assigned to each. Could Miles Morales find a home in the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe? (He is already the principal character of Sony Animation’s Oscar-winning Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse series.) Could Andrew Garfield be keeping a significant secret about his canceled Spider-Man reboot in the new SSU series? Is there a new Spider-Man star ready to make his or her debut at Sony?
